Northern Suburbs

Living in Northern Suburbs

Cape Town’s Northern Suburbs stretches about an hour outside of the CBD – and is made up of a collection of areas including Bellville, Edgemead, Blouberg, Durbanville, Kuils River, Parow, Goodwood and Brackenfell. Home to a plethora of schools, some of the city’s biggest malls, a handful of small business hubs and plenty of large residential areas, the Northern Suburbs have everything – in fact, many residents have no reason to venture outwards at all.

Consisting of new developments as well as older homes and buildings, home options in this area include apartments, townhouses and substantial houses, all ranging from affordable to upmarket. Because the Northern Suburbs are removed from Cape Town’s city centre, the area offers brilliant value for money, meaning many families and young professionals reside here. Quiet and affordable, these areas are the epitome of suburbia.
